Week 8 10/1 Miracles! But only After Trial of Faith

Sorry this email is super confusing... I think at least

Well, this week started off completely wrong hahah! Sunday to Thursday all we did was knocked doors and went to appointments(which none of them were home!!) so we knocked more doors! Everyday we set goals on how many lessons we want to teach and new investigatores we want, and we were setting pretty high goals, and every single night we had 0 of everything hahah. The absolute worst haha. AFter like 3 days of just knocked doors and being called a Demon Hell Spawn (from what i understood) by some old lady, and just our investigatores not showing up for appointments, I started to get a little angry and frustrated at God and my companion and he wasnt happy either hahha. We werent talking much and we just started working harder and harder every day until we were completely exhausted. I was praying constantly for help  with just the mission life in general but wasnt recieving any answers!! After one night of just complete failures and pretty running from door to door to find as many people as we could, Elder T and I talked about what we need to actually do!!

We decided it had to be the little things that maybe we were forgetting is why we werent finding anyone. Like the smallest things ahhah. We cleaned our room even more haha, I started sleeping with a shirt over my garments, and just like the littlest of things, plus praying even more!! The next day we were determined that those things were what were holding us back and Friday we were going to find people to teach.... NOT!! BE HUMBLE haha. No one! But of course we prayed more and studied more and saturday came around, and miracles! We taught 8 lessons that day!! INSANE!! Plus one of our investigatores with a baptismal date invited her sister and family to start taking the lessons!

It was so awesome to see the principle of the trial of faith!! Faith doesnt work by just praying and believing in Christ, its also acting and changing to trying to find those oppurtunties!! The Holy Ghost cant work through a inanimate object!! And when we are just sitting there waiting for an answer we are just being an object that cant be acted upon!

Anways, we got one more baptimal date for the 27 of october with Normas sister Maria! So now we have 2 baptisms the 13th and 1 the 27th of october! We are working hard with Margot but she is tough, I know for a fact she is feeling the spirit but she isnt improving much. But she should have a baptismal date for the 27th by the end of this week!

The Computer Store owner's cat, he has a sweater on! its weird cause all the animals have these DaNk sweaters!

Last thing!! We found out that President Russell M. Nelson is coming to the Lima, Peru Central mission on the 20th!!
