Week 9 10/8 General Conference

General Conference BOOYYY!!! haha kinda for us! 

Well we got to watch the satuday sessions... in spanish hahaha. So i got about none of it. We put on the subtitles but i dont know if you guys have ever used them, they are trash. Like they dont make any sense and theres tons of spelling and grammatical errors you can barely read them. It reminds me when Mom trys to talk to Siri by putting it right next to her mouth and it just dont understand and spits out random words ahhaha.

Anyways 2 hour church is great, I love how the churchs focus is really moving to the family! its great! 

We didnt get to watch sunday general confernce cause it was election day here and so no one does anything all day, we didnt even have church to watch general conference, super funny!! So thats what we are doing next week is i think the entire ward is going to watch general confernce or something all together i dont know, spanish is confusing hahah. Also I heard there were like 12 temples announced, but i dont know where cuase we couldnt watch conference!! hahha

This week was a little bit better than last week... just a little. We are still having trouble finding new investigators. This week we have 5 but we are suppose to have 10 every week, so that wasnt so good. We only taught I think 6ish lessons which is also bad.  Plus all but 1 of our investigators is showing up for appointments. Its so funny cause Mom always told me that south americans are usually pretty bad with time and its true! We always have an appointment and there like oooohhh nnoo sorry i invited family over, oh i need to go buy groceries, and a ton of the times its "im cooking sorry but come back another day"! 

Anways, enough about those investigators, Jose Valle is awesome!!

Weve only had 1 lesson with him but we 1 more tomrrow! He literally reads every pamphlet and I think has almost read the entire book of mormon hahha. He wants to get baptised but his only challenge is he is a Doctor and has work a lot on sundays. So once he gets those 3 chruch attendences we can baptise him! He already have 1 so hopefully his baptise will be the 27 of October! His entire family is Catholic and we hope to teach them soon as well!

Last Monday we ordered Pizza Hut ahahha!! Super Good! Towards the end of the month we can live like Kings cause we usually have a ton of extra Cash haha! Youre also looking at our entire room and bathroom, pretty much a mansion... I know!

Funny Story!

I knocked on a door and instead of just saying we are missions and something else, I said we had a message that will bless your family! And This guy instantly says in alright english, "Come, Come in! Come!" Like 10 times, I knew Elder T didnt understand so i told him he said "Come in" so we just walked into this dude house and sat down. He showed us his "Peru" (Family) as he called it. He has like 5 kids that are all like over 20 and marriage and have kids. He and his wife have been married for like 45 years and a bunch of other stuff. Anways, Roberto is his name, he is super catholic and same with his family. He had pictures of jesus and Mary all over his house, he also already had a BoM from a bishop that stayed with him 15 years ago or something idk, confusing. But anways he seemed alright, probably just wanted to talk with someone besides his wife ahahh.

Life is interesting here in Peru, but is great! We played futsol today with our zone on these dope turf fields they have in every single neighborhood. They are way nice! I didnt get a pic but will send one next week! I remember one thing i dont like about Peru haha only 1 thing hahah. Every friday we walk our dirty cloths like 2ish miles to a members house to wash and then mondays we have to pick them up and walk them back, but besides that we are living in paradise!!

The Hermana that lives below us made us this! Its rice, egg, beans, and chicken! I have yet to have a bad tasting food here which is awesome. I think the thing i dislike most is the Cold Potatoes they give us.
