Week 28 2/11 Baptisms de Esther y Ariandna
Saturday we had 2 the baptisms of Esther and her daughter Ariandna! She
had been receiving the lessons from the missionaries for over 2 years
now. Its super funny cause I came here and the first day I saw here
registry and wanted to visit her. Elder Gonzalez told me that she never
progressed, she would always accept an appointment to teach her but was
never there during the appointment. I also heard a ton of other things
about her but I still wanted to go. My first night we went and knocked
her door and she was there. We entered and just listened to the spirit
and her! After teaching about obedience and the amor for God and doing a
preinterview she accepted a baptismal date. It was honestly one of the
most spiritual lessons I had ever participated in. From there on she
read, prayed, and attended church until her baptism this Saturday.
I
learned something really important from this experience from her, that
all it takes is one super spiritual lesson and anyone will do anything
to feel it again. The feelings of the spirit are the most precious of
all feelings. As missionaries thats our goal is to create a spiritual
environment where the spirit and open the hearts and testify of the
truthfulness of our words.
Today we had to do
emergency transfers. They split our sector this week so Elder Gonzalez
and I had to move rooms. We packed all our stuff Sunday night and moved
today in the morning and unpacked. It's a good change cause we are like
10000 times closer to our investigators and the chapel.
After
all this we went and played soccer as a zone... again. We play almost
every week because there aren't Hermanas in our zone cause it's too
dangerous for them. When there are Hermanas we have to play volleyball
or something they can play with the Elders.
Luis
had his interview this last week... but didn't pass😑. Theres no surprise
there cause no one here in this zone passes their first interview
haha. He will have his second interview this week and then his baptism
this Saturday!
Thanks for all the love and
Support! Also shout out to all my friends that are still writing me! You
officially made it further than half of my family haha!
Love You All!
Elder Kohlert
