Week 12 10/29 3 months!! Plus BBB.

We are officially 1/8 done hahaha!

This week was fetching awesome! We had 3 baptisms! Well I guess actually 2 but in my book it's 3! Only because the lady we baptized was pregnant. So it's 3! Ruben and Carlota are now officially members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints! Neither me or Elder Torres got to baptize them because her uncle is a member so he did it! But thats okay, cause they are still members no matter who baptized them! It's is unreal to see the fruits of my labors pay off! we had about 20 members at the baptism which is alright... usually we aim for 30-40. Ruben and Carlota bore testimonies at the baptism and they were super sweet and spiritual. Rubens was the best cause he talk about us the Elders a lot and the effect we had on his life, and how he wants to live his life like a missionary!

I had an awesome experience after the baptism to help with a Blessing of Health for Carlota! It was my first time participating in a blessing and it was unforgettable. I felt the spirit so much in that room, and using the priesthood with something other than the sacrament was awesome. 

We also had another opportunity to give 2 more blessings the following Sunday! One to Janire, who will be baptized this next Saturday, and her grandson Leonardo who is 4. I did the anointing of the Oil in Spanish... Kinda. Elder Torres and to tell me everything to say during them but thats alright!!

This week we ate with some members. One family was from Venezuela and didn't have any money but still fed us. I felt so bad! They fed us Liver and Rice. I finally found out what they put in Cat food! Its Liver. Like, it's the same exact consistency as cat food hahah. I ate all of it! (Don't worry mom)  Sorry I'm out of time!
