Week 14 11/12 Finna Get Dunked?!?!

This week was pretty dank for us. We had our 4th baptism this week! Hermana Stephany is super cool. We have been working with her for over 2 months now and she finally decided she wanted to make her covenant with God!! She has 1 kid and is going to be a great example for him! He will be a future missionary, I know it!! I'll never forget just sitting on the side of the road with her and reading scriptures and trying to help her. It's been super awesome to see her progression and everything. We don't have any baptisms lined up for the rest of November, but we are hoping to have 3 the first day of December with a family from Venezuela!

Baptism of Stephany!

This week was Elder Torres birthday so we have been eating so much food and cake its not even funny. I swear every house of a member we go to they feed us food and candy. Asu!! I probably weigh about the same as a small sized elephant. hahah. Its super funny cause a couple members gave him gifts and one family gave him 3 gifts and all were Deodorant, body wash, and cologne, haha. I don't know if it was a joke or something but i was dying inside. I didn't say anything to him cause he probably would have gotten mad at me. He doesn't smell, i just thought it was funny they gave him that.
Lunch with members Saturday with some dank cake!

Cake from the members that live below us!

We also had meetings with the President and he told me that I have a ton of potential and he really likes me haha. Im really hoping he just says this to all missionaries cause if I become a zone leader or assistant I'm building a ship like Nephi and sailing out of here haha. No its cool he said that! We also watched all the videos for the Light the World campaign which is super awesome. This year is dope cause its 4 separate weeks to help someone different. 3 Nephi 12:16 'Always shine your inner light wherever you are...' in the market, playing basketball, or in class. Always smile and be happen even through the rough times. This just reminded me of one of my favorite talks by Elder Bednar.
Listen to this while you're driving or something cause it is worth it. Also like half the talks by Elder Holland haha.

Elder Sanchez from Mexico super chill

Anyways we didn't really find anyone special this week. We did meet a kid named Sergio, he goes to school from 9am-9pm. He asked me if there were any good schools in USA and I told him BYU hahaha. But he said he heard of MIT and wants to go there. We taught him  one time and can't find him anymore:(

Love you all, Love this Gospel, and Love these people! If any of you can find me one person that truly lives the gospel with exactitude and isn't happy I'll give you my monthly missionary allowance haha. Each and everyone of you are a child of God. He loves you, and is here to bless you, all you have to do is accept them! It's that easy haha.

Also a quote I heard this week that i really liked, its for the youth of the church, "If you are worthy to go on a mission and you don't, you just missed out of the most rewarding time of your life"!
DC 18:15-16
