Week 11/26 16 Dia de acciòn de Gracias!!

Happy Thanksgiving ya'll!!

Well this week was amazing! It starting off really slow and slowly started to ramp up to feel speed. Tuesday we didn't get to proselyte in our area cause we had splits with the Zone leaders. But the ZLs aren't allowed to leave each other over night so both of us went to their house and slept there and did missionary work there also! So pretty much we had no progress in our area. Wednesday we only did a half day of work cause we had meetings until 6. So Tuesday and Wednesday we didn't find a single person to teach. Buuuuttttt.... the Lord never disappoints haha. Wednesday, we found one new investigator, Thursday 2, Friday 2, Satuday 2, and Sunday night 1! Only 3 of these investigators I think will probably be baptized. The rest we need to teach a lot and really have a spiritual experience with the change their hearts.
I'll write about the good ones haha.
Jessica is a mom of 3, parts of her extended family are members but she isn't. She has never been baptized in any church this is great because we share a lot of scriptures about how you have to be baptized to enter the kingdom of god. She told us she wants to be baptized she just doesn't know which church. Her daughter was baptized in the Catholic church last year. We taught her 1 time with just us and 1 time with the leader missionary.  She kinda accepted a date for baptism but not super strongly. But we are planning for this 22 de Diciembre.
Samira is the daughter of one of our investigators, Percy. We taught them lesson 3 which includes baptism. We invited Percy to be baptized and he said he needs more time. But after we asked Samira and she told us that she wants to be baptized in the same way Jesus was baptized! This is awesome cause I think she is going to be the keystone to get Percy baptized!

We had 2 really weird experiences this week. First, I had a drunk guy cry in my shoulder... literally hahaha. He was crying and he shook my hand and them pulled me in and was saying a ton of stuff about Christ but he didn't have any teeth so i couldn't really understand him that much. Then when we tried to give him a pamphlet of the word of wisdom he spit on my shoe haha.
Right after this we went to a recent converts house and she called over one of her friends that we were going to teach. While explaining our purpose as missionaries she started crying and told us that her family is super messed up and a bunch of other stuff. Then while teaching her about Jesus and the atonement she told us she couldn't be forgiven of her sins. We told her everyone can be forgiven no matter what it is. She constantly denied this! Then while telling her she could feel peace and hope all her life, she told us that she doesn't want to feel peace cause she isn't worthy of it. Anyways, it was just kinda a weird cause there were a bunch of other things too but I don't have time to explain. But after leaving her we said a prayer before entering our house cause we felt the influence of satan. It was super weird something about her was super bad that just drained the spirit from us.
Other than these experiences we had an awesome week!
