Week 17 12/3

Happy Holidays and Happy 4th month mark!

This week was about the easiest week here in the mission. We had something things this week because we were preparing for the month of December and all the service activities and stuff.
Monday was PDay so we only had about 2 hours of proselyting. Tuesday was a normal day, Wednesday we had a multi-zone conference with the mission president. They gave us Thanksgiving dinner which was super chill of them! we had turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, veggies, and the best for last, pumpkin pie. I nearly passed out seeing the pumpkin pie haha.
Thursday we had zone conference so we only had a half day of work.
Friday was weekly planning so it was also a half day.
Saturday we had our service activity of LightTheWorld. We went around cleaning the streets and singing hymns and contacting. It was super fun and we got some cool contacts... but not for our sector haha.

Not gonna lie when i found out we were going to get to wear these dope vest i freaked out hahha. Ive always seen them in the pics of missionaries but never worn one before! Theres a first for everything!

Then in the after we had another with our ward. They bought a ton of food and wrapped it and we took it to an old person home and gave it to them and sang songs. It was super chill cause one of the old guys screamed at us while we were singing, "You guys can go now!!!" haha. So pretty much we didn't get any contacting done Saturday.
Sunday we had church and Christmas devotional so it was another slacker day again.
We only had 6 new investigators this week, plus none of our investigators attended church. Thats the worst part cause if they don't attend they aren't progressing towards baptisms. So every week they don't attend we have to push their baptism another week back. So this is the last week for them to attend until we have to push the baptisms till January!! I'm not looking at doing that, so we are going to work super hard this week and change how we are teaching and just pretty much everything.
The new room which is way bigger and had an awesome view!
The view from the new apartment! Theres a giant catholic church way out in the distacne with Mary on top
If anyone of you have any ideas on how to get people to attend church let me know haha, I could use it. We are teaching the importance and everything but every time they just tell us they have family stuff or work.
Today we helped some missionaries move rooms and of course the new room they had was on the 5th floor haha. So we are carrying desks and refrigeradores up 5 flights of stairs hahaha.
Hold room that we moved all the stuff. The missionaries in blue are our zone leaders Elder Popa from Argentina and Elder Hiesly from Arizona.

Love you all!
Sorry this week was pretty boring. I will try to spice things up next email:)
Love
Elder Kohlert
