Week 32 3/11 First Week of Training
I'm so glad that the Lord and President Strong have entrusted me with
this opportunity to train a new Elder. Elder Flores is from Peru and is a
recent convert to the church practically. He was baptized 1 year and 3
months ago and left right for the mission when he had the chance. His
story is super awesome but it makes it a little bit harder to help him
learn the doctrine because he only has a couple months of real Book of Mormon study under his belt. Im trying to help him learn as fast as he
can to learn everything that he needs to do, without overloading him. He is
super excited to work; just is a little shy.
This week we found
another family of 3. Michely, Fatima, and Luz. This family met the
missionaries in La Selva of Peru. They moved her a couple months ago.
They are super awesome. Fatima has read parts of the Book of Mormon
before and told us she wants to be baptized. We found them Saturday night
at like 8pm and they accepted and went to church the next day at 9am.
Super awesome to find people that are so willing to accept and act upon
the things they learn from us.
Nely has her baptism this 23rd
of March, and then the 30th, her two kids, Jorge and Lizbeth. Hopefully
they will continue to read and pray daily to help them progress
towards a covenant with our loving heavenly father.
Love you all,
Sorry I don't have any pics this week
Love Elder Kohlert
