Week 32 3/11 First Week of Training

I'm so glad that the Lord and President Strong have entrusted me with this opportunity to train a new Elder. Elder Flores is from Peru and is a recent convert to the church practically. He was baptized 1 year and 3 months ago and left right for the mission when he had the chance. His story is super awesome but it makes it a little bit harder to help him learn the doctrine because he only has a couple months of real Book of Mormon study under his belt. Im trying to help him learn as fast as he can to learn everything that he needs to do, without overloading him. He is super excited to work;  just is a little shy.
This week we found another family of 3. Michely, Fatima, and Luz. This family met the missionaries in La Selva of Peru. They moved her a couple months ago. They are super awesome. Fatima has read parts of the Book of Mormon before and told us she wants to be baptized. We found them Saturday night at like 8pm and they accepted and went to church the next day at 9am. Super awesome to find people that are so willing to accept and act upon the things they learn from us. 
Nely has her baptism this 23rd of March, and then the 30th, her two kids, Jorge and Lizbeth. Hopefully they will continue to read and pray daily to help them progress towards a covenant with our loving heavenly father.

Sé que esta es su iglesia y que Jesucristo dirige esta iglesia a través de sus profetas y apóstoles. He conocido muchas personas que hablan mal de nuestra iglesia pero sé que estamos en la senda correcta y que Dios nos bendicirá por nuestra obediencia a sus mandamientos. Sigan orando y leyendo diariamente y renovando sus convenios bautismales cada domingo. Los quiero! Nos Vemos en un ratito!

Week 35 4/1 Ocho Meses!!

Buenas Tardes Casa de Isreal!!! jaajja This week went by pretty fast, I don't know exactly why because we had a garbage week in terms of the missionary work but its cooled down a ton here. It's not so burning hot that I have to change shirts twice a day😊. All I know is that this week is going to be super fast! We have some type of meeting or conference everyday with week. So that pretty much means that we aren't going to be doing much. We have multi-zone Conference which is the entire day almost, then District meeting, zone meeting, weekly planning, and then Saturday and Sunday General Conference! General Conference I think is Christmas for the missionaries. We literally get to watch and listen to our beloved prophet! Plus its even better because is Russell M Nelson.. pretty much every time its a heart attack of announcements!. We've found some cool people this week that we are going to continue working with but no one like out of this world prepared...

Week 33 3/18 Lo siento

Sorry, I don't have a ton of time to write everyone but I will prepare one for the next coming week. In summary, Nely and Lizbeth passed their interviews and will have their baptisms this week. Luis just got the priesthood and next week he will get the Melchizedek priesthood. We found a family of 4.  3 of them have accepted a baptisms date for this 6th of April. They are super awesome and discovered the church the jungle here in Peru.  Some nice leather scripture covers Sorry for the short update. Love you all, Elder Kohlert
