Week 41 5/13 Feliz Dia De Madre!!

Before anything I got a give a shout-out to all the moms out there! Thanks for what you do to keep us on the straight and narrow!
This week we filled up the baptismal font for Victor Barrios! He is officially the oldest person I've ever baptized! 70 years old!! He has some of the best stories ever too! One time he told us the story when he was working with his dad in the jungle and some robbers came and killed his dad and left him with his siblings😯. Just stuff like that is just super interesting. 

Its starting to get pretty cold here in Lima so the baptismal water is always super freezing so when he went back go under he made the funniest old guy noise hahaha. He said it was refreshing!
The couple Jesus and Heidi that I have been teaching for the last 4 months and just got married finally made it to church. They are super awesome and just need a little bit more preparation and testimony and they should be ready for baptism. 
This is our last multi-zone before we separate missions! I'll probably leave here from San Martin but I don't know yet where I will go. But there is a pretty good chance it will be to the new mission. WISH ME LUCK!! 
I've been reading up on the new mission president and he seems pretty chill to me. He is super young and has an entire family he is going to bring here.

Week 35 4/1 Ocho Meses!!

Buenas Tardes Casa de Isreal!!! jaajja This week went by pretty fast, I don't know exactly why because we had a garbage week in terms of the missionary work but its cooled down a ton here. It's not so burning hot that I have to change shirts twice a day😊. All I know is that this week is going to be super fast! We have some type of meeting or conference everyday with week. So that pretty much means that we aren't going to be doing much. We have multi-zone Conference which is the entire day almost, then District meeting, zone meeting, weekly planning, and then Saturday and Sunday General Conference! General Conference I think is Christmas for the missionaries. We literally get to watch and listen to our beloved prophet! Plus its even better because is Russell M Nelson.. pretty much every time its a heart attack of announcements!. We've found some cool people this week that we are going to continue working with but no one like out of this world prepared...

Week 33 3/18 Lo siento

Sorry, I don't have a ton of time to write everyone but I will prepare one for the next coming week. In summary, Nely and Lizbeth passed their interviews and will have their baptisms this week. Luis just got the priesthood and next week he will get the Melchizedek priesthood. We found a family of 4.  3 of them have accepted a baptisms date for this 6th of April. They are super awesome and discovered the church the jungle here in Peru.  Some nice leather scripture covers Sorry for the short update. Love you all, Elder Kohlert
