Week 49 7/15 - Goal of 4?
This week has been super productive. The Lord has blessed our area in
ways that I never thought before. I received my new comp, Elder Madruga
on Tuesday in the morning. Since he used to be the AP we ended up
spending almost the entire day with the APs doing random stuff around
the office and packing his stuff in their apartment.
Wednesday and
Thursday we had multi-zone almost the entire day too. It was awesome
because the mission bought little caesars pizza for all the
missionaries. Finally after all that fun stuff we got to work.

This
first thing we did was establish a goal for the one week we were going
to be together. i thought that was kinda goofy because you cant really
make a baptismal goal for a week. We decided on a goal of 4. I thought
we were just joking around but I guess if you put your heart and soul
into the work the Lord really blesses us. We went from only having 1
baptism this last week to have 3 this weekend. They are all super
prepared and are super excited for baptism.
After
them we are preparing Melquiades and Carlos for the 3rd of August. They
still need a little bit of help but are progressing steadily.
I've
been really enjoying this time with Elder Madruga. He is super funny.
He speaks Spanish, Portugues, English, and Japanese. He lived in Orem UT
for a little bit and in New York, But now he lives in Brazil.
Book of Mormon is real, it's the word of God!
