Week 52 8/5 - With Oatmeal and Raw Eggs Everything Is Possible
Beautiful Children of God!!! Como Estan?
I spent the
morning today thinking about gratitude that we should have for God and
the Lord. I spend a grand portion on my prayers every morning thanking
God for everything he has given me during the week. Especially to be
here in Peru serving the people. Even though it may be some of the
hardest work I've ever done its definitely one of the most rewarding
ones. These change our Christ-like missionary focus is Charity. Every
change we make 3 goals around the changes attribute.
From what I've studied so-far on my mission, Moroni 7 is probably the best chapter to find and learn about Charity.
44 If so, his afaith and hope is vain, for none is bacceptable before God, save the cmeek and lowly in heart; and if a man be meek and lowly in heart, and dconfesses by the power of the Holy Ghost that Jesus is the Christ, he must needs have charity; for if he have not charity he is nothing; wherefore he must needs have charity.
45 And acharity suffereth long, and is bkind, and cenvieth not, and is not puffed up, seeketh not her own, is not easily dprovoked,
thinketh no evil, and rejoiceth not in iniquity but rejoiceth in the
truth, beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things,
endureth all things.
46 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, if ye have not charity, ye are nothing, for charity never faileth. Wherefore, cleave unto charity, which is the greatest of all, for all things must fail—
47 But acharity is the pure blove of Christ, and it endureth cforever; and whoso is found possessed of it at the last day, it shall be well with him.
This
week we ended up finding a lot of people to teach but not so many that
wanted to accept a baptismal date. Right now for this month we have 3
people... but one still needs to get married. We have been praying and
fasting the receive divinely guidance to help them get married and
tomorrow we will know if thats what they are going to do.
This
week we also made a goal of 10 baptisms for these next 5 weeks! It's a
high goal but definitely reachable. Recently I've been reading "Drawing
the Heavenly Powers" i think thats what its called in English, i just
kinda translated it, but its super awesome to learn how to receive power
from God to complete our just desires.
I made a
goal for this week to wake up a little bit earlier than usually to do
exercise with one of the comps from the other companionship in our
apartment. it feels super awesome to actually exercise. In our apartment
we have a mini weight room which makes it way easier to fulfill this
goal.
Love you all!!!
