Week 53 8/12 - Break-ins, Imposters, Power and Water Outages, and Sicknesses.

This week is officially on the craziest weeks of the mission. I really don't know where to start... maybe with the one year completed!!! It's been one of the fastest years of my life and full of memories!

Tuesday my DL called me telling me that we were going to do an exchange but I miss understood and thought he said a division so i didn't bring any clothes or anything. When I got to their apartment, they were confused and asked me where my stuff was at. We ended up going back to my apartment to pick up my stuff. We came back with my hand bag with all my clothes and everything and as we got to the 4th floor to enter in their apartment to drop off my luggage we saw that the door was broken and all the lights were on. We walked in and all their stuff was on the ground thrown out of the luggage and drawers. Someone had broken in their house and stole all their wallets, watches, and shoes! We talked with the people that live below them and they said that they let in 2 young guys like us in because they wanted to talk to us. He said that they were dressed in black jackets with White button ups so he thought that it was one of us, they went up stairs and wedged the door open and stole a ton of stuff. The funniest part is that one of the elders saw that they had broken in,  he ran straight to his big luggage and started freaking out because they had opened his giant jar of peanut butter and had eaten some of it haha.

Old Gangsta fixing up the door so they cant break-in again

Then started Thursday night until Sunday afternoon we had a power outage, so we didn't have any hot water to shower, and then after the power outage we had a water outage after that for 1 day haha. So that practically made the week even worse.. but don't worry it gets worse. From Saturday night until this very moment I've had a fever hah. Plus yesterday I had to give a talk in church haha. So this just kinda sums up my week.

Cross hike

Now for the positive stuff. Yesterday we found 2 people that want to be baptized, One with her cousin this 24th and another that is from Venezuela that wants to be baptized September 7th.

RIP
