Week 55 9/2 - Snap, Crackle, Pop

Good Morning Chamitos!

I'll start off with a "Sorry" for the boring email this week. We just finished week 5 of the change. We didn't find anyone new to teach or any baptisms this Saturday. 

We decided to drop Samantha because we feel if we were to baptize her she would just go inactive because of all her volleyball contracts and schooling, I guess she just isn't quite prepared just yet. 

Johann attended church this week and says he is ready to be baptized this Saturday! This week we just need to commit him to not working Sundays and then do his interview. He is a super awesome Venezuelan that believed in God but Jesus Christ was just kind of a fantasy thing for him. When we contacted him I decided to give him a Book of Mormon even before the first lesson. We came for the first lesson that week he had already read all of the book of alma. After reading that received a testimony of Jesus Christ and his role he plays in our lives. 

Miracles also attended church, she has a baptismal date for this 14th of September.

Besides that this week was a pretty slow week!

Well, I just found out I have emergency transfers today at 7pm. So goodbye to Los Jardines  and hello to Santa Clara! The new stake in Lima.

Week 35 4/1 Ocho Meses!!

Buenas Tardes Casa de Isreal!!! jaajja This week went by pretty fast, I don't know exactly why because we had a garbage week in terms of the missionary work but its cooled down a ton here. It's not so burning hot that I have to change shirts twice a day😊. All I know is that this week is going to be super fast! We have some type of meeting or conference everyday with week. So that pretty much means that we aren't going to be doing much. We have multi-zone Conference which is the entire day almost, then District meeting, zone meeting, weekly planning, and then Saturday and Sunday General Conference! General Conference I think is Christmas for the missionaries. We literally get to watch and listen to our beloved prophet! Plus its even better because is Russell M Nelson.. pretty much every time its a heart attack of announcements!. We've found some cool people this week that we are going to continue working with but no one like out of this world prepared...

Week 33 3/18 Lo siento

Sorry, I don't have a ton of time to write everyone but I will prepare one for the next coming week. In summary, Nely and Lizbeth passed their interviews and will have their baptisms this week. Luis just got the priesthood and next week he will get the Melchizedek priesthood. We found a family of 4.  3 of them have accepted a baptisms date for this 6th of April. They are super awesome and discovered the church the jungle here in Peru.  Some nice leather scripture covers Sorry for the short update. Love you all, Elder Kohlert
